Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan resigned. He announced this during an extraordinary meeting in the municipality.

Hrachya Sargsyan mentioned that he will continue to be with the political team.

“I will continue to work towards the development of the establishment of our state. You all knew that Tigran Avinyan was the mayoral candidate of the “Civil Agreement” party, and he will lead the list. I hope that the “Civil Agreement” will receive the vote of confidence of the people of Yerevan, and we will have the opportunity to continue the most important projects for the community,” he said.
