Former Foreign Minister of Artsakh Davit Babayan expressed this point of view live on Facebook, adding that they will continue to work to preserve Artsakh.

“Me and my friends, party members, all members of the Artsakh conservative party will continue our mission to preserve Artsakh. Now we are in the most difficult phase of our history, and 2023 will be a very important period for us. Here it is very important that each of us should consider this important. I will continue to serve our people and the state as much as I can, I have a number of plans and I will try to communicate more often through such meetings and inform the public about them. But the fact that I am unfailingly connected to the state and the people is unequivocal, regardless of the position or position I hold. According to me, there should be one position: the trench of the nation’s destiny,” Babayan said.

He emphasized that now it is extremely important to be united. “We should also show by personal example what patriotism is, not only with words, toasts, and appeals but by our personal example and steps, simply by decently serving our own people,” Davit Babayan noted, adding that during these two years, Artsakh Foreign Ministry has carried out tremendous works abroad and in the diaspora, registering a number of important successes in various international instances. The rating of Artsakh in the Diaspora has been extremely high in recent years, and this is also the result of the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its representatives.

I am sure that we still have a long way to go, yes, it will be difficult, but, nevertheless, there is a possibility. And God does not give that opportunity to every people to purify themselves, but we must purify ourselves. This is the most important key to a reliable future. There are always external enemies and they do not even hide their goals, and if we purify ourselves, we will be able to endure everything. We don’t have time and we have to do everything for the salvation of the state and the people. It is very important that at this moment the state system also works and is not undermined,” said Davit Babayan.

He also congratulated the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh, Sergey Ghazaryan, wishing him success in all the projects that were left unfinished and which he planned to implement in the future.
