On December 20-21, the working discussion of the heads of RA diplomatic missions took place in Jermuk under the leadership of the RA Minister of Foreign Affairs and the leadership of the central apparatus of the MFA.
On December 20, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the participants of the event. The Prime Minister referred to Armenia’s foreign policy priorities, existing challenges, and opportunities to face them, and talked about expectations from diplomats in the current conditions. Nikol Pashinyan also answered the questions of the audience.
Next, under the leadership of Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, high-ranking diplomats discussed the details of the processes of normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh problem, the blocking of the Lachin Corridor by Azerbaijan, border security and border demarcation, the unblocking of economic and transport infrastructures in the region, the normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations, as well as the RA other issues related to foreign policy priorities.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia issued relevant recommendations regarding further work.
