factor.am: Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov had a telephone conversation, Azerbaijani media reports.
Iran’s Foreign Minister expressed concern about the tension between Armenia and Azerbaijan and stated that the region is not ready for a new conflict.
According to him, the territorial integrity of the countries of the region and the inviolability of international borders is important for Iran.
“Tehran is in favor of resolving the issues between Azerbaijan and Armenia through peaceful negotiations and is ready to help in this matter,” Abdollahian said.
