The construction of 9 houses almost completed in Shurnukh

The Chairman of the Urban Development Committee, Armen Ghularyan, and the Head of the Urban Planning Implementation Department, Arsen Mirzoyan, paid a working visit to the Syunik region in order to supervise the construction of a new district in the Shurnukh settlement.

As the Urban Development Committee informs, during the visit, the completed construction works were observed. It was recorded that the construction works of 9 houses in the district, including 13 residential houses, are almost completed, and 4 are in progress. Interior finishing works of the houses have also started. In addition, a new road in the district was built, and the construction works of engineering infrastructures and fences were started.

In the new district, it is planned to build a sewage system with a treatment plant, an external power supply line, and an external lighting system, as well as to build a cattle shed for each household, fence, and fence the plot.

During the tour, the officials of the committee discussed the design solutions with the representatives of the contractor and technical control companies and gave instructions on correcting some of the recorded defects and involving additional labor. It was ordered to take all the necessary measures in order to complete the entire volume of construction works within the specified time and with quality.

It should be reminded that the construction works of the new district in the Shurnukh settlement of the expanded community of Goris started on April 26, 2021. The cost of the project is around 1.2 billion AMD. The works are carried out in accordance with the contract and budget allocations. It is planned to put the district into operation in the fourth quarter of 2022.
