At the moment, search and rescue operations in the territory of the “Surmalu” shopping center have been stopped because of the terrain and the risk of collapse.

RA MES Press Secretary Hayk Kostanyan said this in a conversation with journalists.

Kostanyan mentioned that at the moment there is one missing person who is supposedly in the explosion zone.

The identity of one more body is not yet certain. Kostanyan mentioned that it is in the stage of forensic examination. A sample was taken and the citizen’s identity will be known within 5 days.
