During a meeting held in Cholpon Ata,  Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ali Asadov, emphasized the importance of work to stabilize the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and announced the need to implement the agreements reached, TASS reports.

Speaking about the current agenda, Asadov, in particular, noted that a lot is connected with the recent events in the region.

“I want to talk about the role of the Russian Federation in solving these issues, concluding a tripartite agreement,” he said.

The Prime Minister of Azerbaijan noted that there are also issues related to transport communication, which is being resolved within the framework of the tripartite working group headed by the Deputy Prime Ministers.

“There is serious work going on there, we hope that it will continue until the end,” Asadov concluded.

Mishustin also emphasized the importance of agreements and their maintenance.

“It is very important to ensure all the decisions that have been taken within the framework of the tripartite commission to ease the tension in the region,” he said.
