Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Toivo Klaar, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia.
The interlocutors emphasized the location of the EU civilian mission in Armenia and referred to the mission’s activities.
Thoughts were exchanged on the issues of regional security, peace, and stability, the steps taken in that direction, and the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Issues related to the unblocking of regional transport infrastructures, as well as the work of border security and demarcation commissions were also discussed.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Turkish parliament member Garo Paylan, who arrived in Yerevan to participate in the first World Armenian Summit.
The Prime Minister welcomed the Armenian deputy and highlighted his participation in the summit devoted to the discussion of the problems of the Pan-Armenian agenda and his willingness to contribute to the solution of these problems.
Garo Paylan presented the current state of the Armenian community in Turkey and issues related to community life.

A rally held in Stepanakert’s Revival Square
A large rally is being held in the Renaissance Square of Stepanakert, the capital of Artsakh, parallel to the extraordinary session of the Artsakh National Assembly. Around 40.000 citizens participated in the rally.
A statement was adopted at the session of the National Assembly of Artsakh, in which it was stated that Artsakh has never been and will never be part of independent Azerbaijan.
According to the statement adopted by the National Assembly, this idea should be the basis of the settlement of the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict. In addition, it was emphasized that any attempt to annex Artsakh to Azerbaijan would be a gross violation of international law and an official license for the implementation of a new genocide of the Armenian people, therefore documents with such content are unacceptable for the Republic of Artsakh.

It should be noted that tomorrow, October 31st, Prime Minister Pashinyan will leave for the Russian Federation on a working visit, where he will meet with Vladimir Putin. A tripartite meeting of the leaders of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan is also planned.
