Germany would like to participate in the observation mission in Armenia and plans to suggest its experts for the work starting in November, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany announced.
“The Federal Government strives for Germany to participate in the observation mission in Armenia and may come up with a proposal to send experts, starting from November,” said the representative of the German Foreign Ministry.
According to him, the decision of who exactly will be involved in the process will be made by the leadership of the mission, depending on the specific needs.
The European Union has decided to send a 40-person observation mission to Armenia, which will be stationed at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

RA Human Rights Defender received videos of alleged war crimes from Toivo Klaar
RA Human Rights Defender Christine Grigoryan received the videos mentioned by her earlier on Twitter from Toivo Klaar, the Special Representative of the European Union, the Human Rights Defender’s office informs in response to Factor.am’s question.
“Regarding those videos, the Human Rights Council has requested clarifications from the law enforcement agencies,” the organization elaborates, stressing that the institution of the Ombudsman was informed in 2021 that after the 44-day war of 2020, criminal cases were initiated by the law enforcement agencies of Armenia in relation with the facts of war crimes.
Earlier, Kristine Grigoryan asked Toivo Klaar, the special representative for the crisis in the South Caucasus and Georgia, to provide her with videos, which, according to Klaar’s post, “may testify to the torture or desecration of the bodies of Azerbaijani prisoners.”

On October 18, the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, met with the deputies of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh, Office of the Artsakh President reports.

Torosyan said that the Armenian government, and the Ministry of Defense, with the involvement of mediators and international partners, are carrying out daily work in this direction.
