Protestors held a rally in front of the Foreign Ministry building
These days, many patriotic, pro-Armenian diplomats, realizing what is happening in our homeland, have rendered their assistance to the national movement, Artur Vanetsyan said in front of the Foreign Ministry building.
“Let’s welcome these diplomats who serve the Republic of Armenia. We will release our diplomats and they will continue to serve Armenia, Artsakh and the Armenian people,” Vanetsyan said. The participants of the protest invited the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the rally, which will be held today on France Square.
Later the opposition rally kicked off in France Square. During his speech, Ishkhan Saghatelyan said that some MPs of the “Armenia” and “I have Honor” factions went to the National Assembly to present their demand, and they will march to the National Assembly.
“We will not seize any building, we will not go to any provocations, because there is no power in these buildings: the power is on streets. Our compatriots are joining us, and we are moving forward with clear, broad steps. You all know Nikol. He will try to go on provocations, try to use the police, the Armed Forces against the people, hoping that the movement will break down,” Saghatelyan said.
