The RA Armed Forces did not fire, the message of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan is misinformation
The message spread by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan that allegedly on November 3, at around 20:15, units of the RA Armed Forces opened fire in the direction of the Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, is another misinformation, the spokesperson of the RA Ministry of Defense announced.
As of 21:00, the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable.
Armenian, and Azerbaijani FMs to meet in the US
Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan, Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will meet in the United States in the coming days, the Armenian FM said today at the joint session of the parliamentary standing committees.
Mirzoyan said there are centers that are interested in the continuation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations. He said that Armenia is participating in that negotiations with different platforms in a constructive way.
“I will depart for Washington in a few days. The meeting between me, the Azerbaijani foreign minister Jeyhun Bayramov and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will take place there”, the FM said.
The meeting of the demarcation commission took place in Brussels
On November 3, the third session of the Commission on Demarcation and Border Security of the State Border between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Commission on the Demarcation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia was held in Brussels, under the chairmanship of RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafaev.
Before the start of the session, the Secretary General of the European External Action Service, Stefano Sannino, welcomed the delegations of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, wished success to the work of the commissions, and reaffirmed the readiness of the European Union to further assist in the issues of the regulation of relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
RA Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafaev expressed gratitude to the EU Council for the good organization of the meeting in their welcoming speeches.
Taking into account the agreements reached in different formats at the level of the leaders of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, the parties continued the discussion of border demarcation issues, referring to organizational and procedural issues.
In order to form the legal framework for the joint activity of the commissions, the parties have agreed to speed up the work on the coordination of the procedure for the joint activity of the commission for the demarcation and border security of the state border between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan and the state commission for the demarcation of the state border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia.
The parties agreed to determine the date and place of the fourth session of the commissions.
Armen Grigoryan and Nikolay Patrushev discussed the regional security situation
During the 10th meeting of the secretaries of the Security Councils of the CIS member states, Armen Grigoryan, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, met with the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Nikolay Patrushev.
The interlocutors discussed the regional security situation, within the framework of which the Secretary of the RA Security Council presented the large-scale aggression undertaken by Azerbaijan on the sovereign territory of Armenia on September 13, its consequences and emphasized that it was not a border incident, but a large-scale invasion of the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia.
The Secretary of the Council of the Russian Federation emphasized the need to achieve peace in the region.

“We are not against the development and improvement of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, but there should be reservations,” Artsakh Foreign Minister Davit Babayan stated during the “Facebook press conference” program of “Azatutyun”.
“Ultimately, we need to understand what can be expected of the Armenian civilization if Artsakh is suddenly destroyed, and then there will be terrible, deadly dangers for mother Armenia, and if there is no mother Armenia, what is the Diaspora,” added Babayan.
