When we say that Azerbaijan has carried out aggression against Armenia, we also mean that it has established control over a certain area. This is the reason why we applied to CSTO on the basis of Article 4, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this during the NA question-and-answer session.

“We have asked the CSTO for help, including for restoring the military territorial integrity of Armenia and ensuring the withdrawal of Azerbaijan’s armed forces from the territory of Armenia. Under this heading, we also mean the previous year’s invasion.

We set this as a political goal, that the aggressor should leave the RA territory. And this is our problem, including in the sense of our initiative in CSTO. The fact that the CSTO Council meeting took place yesterday is a satisfactory fact. An honest, open discussion took place. The decisions made in terms of assessing the situation are minimal for this stage,” said Nikol Pashinyan.
