The attacks on Armenians and the Armenian Patriarchate in Jerusalem were carried out by a few extremists who in no way represent Israel’s pluralistic and diverse society.

Israeli Ambassador to Armenia Joel Lion wrote about this on Twitter.

“These unfortunate events were carried out by a few extremists who in no way represent Israel’s pluralistic and diverse society. As shown by the immediate arrests of the suspects, Israel is committed to the freedom of worship of all religions,” the ambassador wrote.
