“On September 20 and 21, the Committee on Armenian Affairs of the US Congress organized the meetings of Artsakh Republic’s Foreign Minister Davit Babayan with a group of US congressmen, senators and representatives of the legislative wing.

During the meetings, issues related to Artsakh’s foreign policy, socio-economic development, and bilateral relations were discussed.

Minister Babayan expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and noted that close relations with the US Congress Committee on Armenian Affairs will be continuous and effective in the future as well.

Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Artsakh Lernik Hovhannisyan and the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Artsakh in the USA and Canada Robert Avetisyan also participated in the meetings,”  the statement of the Artsakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs reads.
