On August 12, at 7:04 p.m., the regional crisis management center of Tavush was alerted that an unexploded projectile was spotted at the end of Sevkar village. This was reported by the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.

The operative group of the fire-rescue squad of the Noyemberyan special objects protection team of the collective center of the civil defense forces of the MES Civil Defense Department went to the scene of the incident.

Firefighters closed the area and were on duty until the engineering service arrived.

The engineering team moved the shell to a safe area for further destruction.
