Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced that the practical negotiations between the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia on the “peace treaty” will be based on the five principles proposed by Baku and accepted by Yerevan, Interfax.az reports.
“These five principles include recognition of the territorial integrity of both countries, mutual renunciation of territorial claims, non-use of force or threat of force, demarcation of borders, and opening of communications.
These principles were proposed to Armenia by Azerbaijan. The Prime Minister of Armenia accepted them. This was also confirmed two days ago during our meeting in Brussels,” Aliyev told reporters in Italy.
