According to the preliminary investigation carried out by the criminal proceedings initiated by the RA Anti-Corruption Committee, sufficient facts were obtained that the former deputy mayor of Yerevan V. N. (Vahe Nikoyan-ed.) abused his official position during his term of office, as a result of which the “SANITECH” JSC company, as well as its affiliated companies, were unjustifiably paid more than 100,000 euros for garbage collection works that were not actually performed in the capital for years and more than 3 billion AMD for sanitary cleaning services that were not provided.

In other words, a total of 3,002,486,270 AMD was unjustifiably paid for services not provided.

The investigation is ongoing.
