We do not consider it appropriate to comment on the obstinate statements of the President of Belarus, disconnected from the logic of negotiations and not at all alliance-partnership, which call into question the obligations of the member-state signed by him within the framework of the CSTO.

In response to Infocom’s question, Vahan Hunanyan, spokesperson of the RA Foreign Ministry, responded to the latest statements of the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko.

It should be reminded that Alexander Lukashenko, in a conversation with CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas yesterday, referring to the situation on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan, said that Russia is already a mediator there, also referring to the observers of the European Union.

“I understand what kind of game it is, why they dragged the European Union into it, why they drag the OSCE there. Well, why? Well, it is understandable why. What will they do there, if there is already a mediator there?” Lukashenko specifically noted.
