The meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has started in Sochi, RIA Novosti news agency reports.

The bilateral meeting takes place ahead of the tripartite meeting, in which Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will also participate.  Putin’s private conversation with him took place earlier.

As a result of the tripartite meeting, the adoption of the document is expected, which will be the basis of the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
