Yuri Ushakov, assistant to the President of the Russian Federation on international affairs, said that on October 13, Vladimir Putin plans to meet with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, in Astana, Ria Novosti reports.
“A meeting with the President of Azerbaijan Aliyev is planned,” Ushakov told reporters.
The representative of the Kremlin said that not only bilateral cooperation, but also Armenian-Azerbaijani relations will be discussed in the negotiations.
He emphasized that Russia “actively and in every possible way contributes to the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.”
