Pashinyan arrived in Vladivostok on a working visit: A meeting with Putin is planned
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan arrived on a working visit to the Russian Federation, Vladivostok. The delegation headed by the head of the government consists of Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, Deputy Speakers of the National Assembly Hakob Arshakyan, Ruben Rubinyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mnatsakan Safaryan, and other officials.
The head of the Armenian government will take part in the plenary session of the 7th Eastern Economic Forum on the theme “On the road to a multipolar world” in Vladivostok, which will be held with the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin and other heads of state.
A meeting between the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of the Russian Federation is also planned.
A conscript soldier was fatally wounded by the Azerbaijani side
Armenian Ministry of Defense reports that on the evening of September 5, in the combat position located in the eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border zone, according to preliminary data, a mandatory conscript soldier, junior sergeant Arman Sargsyan (born in 2002) was fatally wounded by a shot fired by the Azerbaijani side.
Bayramov and the US Deputy Secretary of State discussed the tripartite meeting in Brussels and bilateral agenda issues
Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov discussed the process of the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations with the US Deputy Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Karen Donfried.
The statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan states that Bayramov and Donfried also discussed issues related to the bilateral agenda.
During the conversation, Bayramov referred to the tripartite meeting in Brussels, and also noted that Azerbaijan is ready to fulfill the Brussels agreements on the work of the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan on the peace treaty.
He also noted that Azerbaijan is taking consistent steps to advance the peace agenda.
The parties agreed to continue bilateral contact.
