The one-way street leading to “Petak” to be opened after the “Surmalu” explosion

A section of Kristapor Street, which was closed after the explosion in the “Surmalu” shopping center, will be opened, following the safety rules. This was reported by Ministry of Emergency Situations spokesperson Hayk Kostanyan.

After the explosion in the “Surmalu” shopping center, a section of Kristapor Street was closed from August 14th until today.

Yesterday, the managers of “Petak” shopping center demanded clear information about the day when they can return to work.

“I inform you that yesterday the officials of the Police, the Investigative Committee, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations had a discussion on the issues raised by businessmen.

A decision was made to open the mentioned road section one way, observing the safety rules. Now works are being carried out in that direction,” Kostanyan wrote.
