The rescuers found the body of a citizen from under the rubble, the RA Ministry of Health reports, adding that the number of victims as a result of the explosion is currently two.

The number of victims transferred to different medical centers has reached 60. Specialists assess the condition of 36 of them as moderate, and 22 were discharged after an examination. The hospitalized are in “Armenia” and “Erebuni” medical centers, the University Hospital No. 1, “Surb Astvatmayr”, “Shengavit”, “Izmirlyan”, “Astghik” and “Nairi” medical centers.”

Earlier today a fire broke out in “Surmalu” shopping center. Firefighting operations are still ongoing.
