Artsakh Foreign Minister Davit Babayan commented on the interview of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
“Yesterday Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said in his interview that the Armenians living in Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan will have no status, no independence, and no special privileges. Well, what can I say here? There is no point in going into details. Let me just say the following. First of all, I want to thank Aliyev for his sincerity. Indeed, neither Azerbaijan nor its leadership has ever hidden their plans for Artsakh. Second, indeed, Karabakh will have nothing in the composition of Azerbaijan, because Karabakh itself will not exist. Besides, any status within Azerbaijan is unacceptable for Artsakh. How could Jews have at least some administrative-territorial status in Nazi Germany?”, Dabid Babayan wrote on his Facebook page.
