Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan held a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergey Shoygu, RA MoD reports. Papikyan presented the situation on the eastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border after the provocation of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. He stressed that the invasion of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces on the sovereign territory of Armenia is a gross violation of the provisions of the trilateral statement from November 9, 2020. Shoygu expressed readiness to make every effort to end hostilities, return POWs and resolve the situation.
