At the briefing held after the government session, RA Human Rights Defender Kristine Grigoryan answered the question about the number of missing people after September 13.
“These numbers can change on different days. For example, as of the 16th of October, our office had more than 40 applications from relatives and families, claiming that their relative is missing. During that time, about 130 bodies were transferred, and these numbers were changed during the identification process.
On the other hand, we have specific locations where the Ministry of Defense knows about the location of servicemen. As of now, the Azerbaijani side still does not give its consent for the Armenian side to remove the bodies,” Grigoryan noted.
