On October 10, the RA Human Rights Defender met the French co-chairman of the OSCE Minsk Group, Brice Roquefeuil.

According to the HRD public relations department, during the meeting, the Defender presented the consequences of the attack on Armenia by the armed forces of Azerbaijan, referring to the gross and ongoing violations of international humanitarian law and human rights.

In his speech, the Human Rights Defender presented the cases of torture, inhumane and humiliating treatment of Armenian servicemen, particularly women, by the armed forces of Azerbaijan, and also forwarded the non-public report of the Defender’s institution confirming these facts.

In his speech, Mr. Roquefeuil emphasized the work carried out by the Defender’s institution and expressed his willingness to continue cooperation.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia Anne Louyot was also present at the meeting.
