Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu and Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan discussed the situation in the region during a telephone conversation.

“The heads of the military departments discussed the situation in the region, as well as in the regions where Russian peacekeepers perform tasks in Nagorno-Karabakh,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
