At the World Wrestling Championship in Belgrade, Olympic champion, multiple World and European champion, Artur Aleksanyan (97 kg) reached the quarter finals.
The Olympic champion defeated the two-time world champion, Turkish Metehan Bashar.
It should be reminded that Aleksanyan’s first opponent refused to wrestle.
EA medal winner, European Games vice-champion, Karapet Chalyan (82 kg) defeated Croatian Filip Sacic in 1/16.
Hrachya Poghosyan (63 kg) won 5-2 over the Japanese opponent in the 1/16 finals.
Slavik Galstyan (67 kg) lost 7-7 to Olympic silver medalist Parviz Nasibov.
