The General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Armenia issued a clarification in connection with today’s mass media publications regarding the cancellation of the international investigation announced by Interpol against the former Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Vatican, Mikael Minasyan. As of July 7, as a result of the consideration of the application submitted by Mikayel Minasyan, the international search against him was stopped.

The General Prosecutor’s Office of RA has started to take measures to find out the grounds for terminating the international investigation announced against Minasyan through Interpol and to initiate corresponding new procedures arising from it.
