Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan met with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili during his official visit to Georgia.

The importance of close cooperation and intensification of contacts between various departments of Armenia and Georgia was noted.

The necessity of establishing stable and long-term peace in the region as soon as possible was emphasized.

The parties also touched upon the processes taking place in the region, as well as in the international arena.
