Today, President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Armenia Nicholas Schmermers.

Ambassador Schmermers congratulated Vahagn Khachaturyan on his election as President and wished him fruitful work.

President Khachaturyan attached importance to the further expansion of the Armenian-Dutch friendly relations and bilateral cooperation.

They exchanged views on various issues, including the deepening of cooperation in the fields of economy, education, science, new technologies, and implementing joint programs.
