On March 23, Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan received U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia reports.

The Minister presented to the US Ambassador the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and in Nagorno-Karabakh, and also touched upon humanitarian problems, stressing the need for their speedy resolution.

The sides also discussed the current problems and prospects of Armenian-American cooperation in the field of defense.
