During the visit of the President of Azerbaijan to Turkey, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ilham Aliyev discussed issues related to the events in Ukraine, Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, as well as bilateral relations.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the prospects for the settlement of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

According to the information, Aliyev and Erdogan talked about the importance of opening the so-called “Zangezur corridor”, as well as the construction of the Kars-Nakhichevan railway.

Armenia-Turkey contacts were also touched upon during the meeting.

The sides also exchanged views on the events in Ukraine.
