There were no conversations with the Special Representative of Turkey on the Armenian Genocide, Ruben Rubinyan, Deputy Speaker of NA, Special Representative of Armenia for the normalization of relations with Turkey, stated this in an interview with Karlen Aslanyan.

“Our position is not really different from the position of the previous authorities. The issue of recognition of the Armenian Genocide is not a precondition in the process of settling Armenian-Turkish relations. When we say that we are ready to settle relations without preconditions, it literally means without preconditions, and we expect a similar approach from Turkey. Armenia has never put forward any territorial demands to Turkey,” Rubinyan said.
