Former Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan will remain under arrest for another two months, Tonoyan’s lawyer Sergey Hovhannisyan told Radio Liberty.

He said that the court considered the issue of the arrest of the former high-ranking official in three days, the decision was published on Saturday.

David Tonoyan, who served as Defense Minister from 2018 to 2020, was arrested on September 30 through the mediation of the National Security Service (NSS).
