On November 16, Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan met with French Ambassador to Armenia Anne Louyot, the office of the Security Council of Armenia.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador highly appreciated the Armenian-French relations and noted the importance of their further development.
The interlocutors touched upon the invasion of the sovereign territory of Armenia by Azerbaijani troops and the resulting situation, as well as the return of Armenian POWs and civilian hostages from Baku.
Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan stressed that the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh hasn’t been politically settled yet. In this context, the role of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs in the peaceful and comprehensive settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was stressed.
