On November 5 Armenian Defense Minister Arshak Karapetyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia Anne Louyot.

“During the meeting, issues related to the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, regional security, reforms in the Armed Forces and, in this context, bilateral Armenian-French cooperation in the field of defense were discussed,” the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia reports.

The sides noted the importance of intensifying actions aimed at developing cooperation in order to continue existing effective programs and initiate new areas of cooperation.
