Ankara pays special attention to the issue of restoring stable peace in the South Caucasus, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this at a press conference following the G20 summit in Rome, Anadolu reports.
“Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, Iran, Georgia and Armenia, let’s take joint steps and establish peace in the region. In this regard, Ilham Aliyev has already made a proposal to Armenia regarding peace in the region. There is a certain negative attitude on the part of Georgia, but if all these countries show a positive approach, the platform will be created, and the region will turn into a platform of peace,” Erdogan said.
