Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said that on the issue of normalization of relations with Armenia they consult with Azerbaijan.
On October 28, in an interview with CNN Turk, Çavuşoğlu , answering a question about whether positive signals were received from Armenia, noted that he had discussed these issues with “brother” Jeyhun’s [Jeyhun Bayramov-ed.] during a visit to Fizuli.
“Those issues (positive signals from Armenia-ed.) we are consulting with Azerbaijan. Many positive messages have come from Armenia, and, as we noted, in case of positive steps by Yerevan, we will respond accordingly. We have discussed our next steps together with Azerbaijan,” Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu noted, adding that “Azerbaijan offered Armenia a peace treaty after the war, to which Yerevan has not yet reacted positively.”
