Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a telephone conversation with the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross Peter Maurer today.
During the conversation, among other issues, the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh was also discussed. This was reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“During the telephone conversation the sides exchanged views on responding to crises in the regions, including discussing the humanitarian situation in Syria, Afghanistan, Myanmar, in the zones of the intra-Ukrainian and Nagorno-Karabakh conflicts.
The sides expressed readiness for further cooperation in areas of mutual interest,” the Russian Foreign Ministry reports.
