Today it is difficult to talk about complete independence, because sovereignty is primarily expressed in the fact that you have a territory, a population, an economy, and you are the owner of this border. This was stated by Seyran Ohanyan, the head of the “Armenia” (Hayastan) parliamentary faction, touching upon the question of how independent we are today.

“Today, when Azerbaijanis are on our borders, are organizing provocations in many places, are not leaving our territories, it’s very difficult to talk about complete sovereignty,” Ohanyan said and noted that, in the end, we must understand that there were no easy situations for the Armenian people, it has always been difficult.

“These authorities are leading our country to fall day by day, after the war, our enemy is invading our borders day by day,” Seyran Ohanyan said.
