Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent congratulatory telegrams to Armenian President Armen Sarkissian and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Armenia’s independence.

According to the press service of Kremlin, the Russian leader stressed that the two countries have established close cooperation in various fields.

“Relations with Armenia are based on good traditions of friendship, cultural and spiritual closeness. Their further development undoubtedly meets the fundamental interests of our fraternal nations,” the Russian President stressed.
