Deputy Prime Minister Suren Papikyan said this in an interview with journalists, answering a question about whether the Azerbaijani police post will continue to operate on the Vorotan section of the Goris-Kapan highway.

“I can’t decide, since this section between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan is still not delimited and demarcated, but the existing road between Soviet Armenia and Soviet Azerbaijan has already been marked,” Papikyan said.

Suren Papikyan also said that  Iranian drivers detained by Azerbaijani police on the Goris-Kapan highway are likely to be released within 3 days. He also noted that these risks were not discussed, given that Russian border guards are working in this direction.
