Armen Khachatryan, a member of the “Civil Contract” party talked about the placement of an Azerbaijani checkpoint on the Goris-Kapan highway, asking the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan why was the checkpoint placed there and why do Iranian trucks stop and pay Azerbaijanis.

“In December 2020 an agreement was reached that this road will be freely used for the vehicles and cargo of Armenia. I believe that since the fact of foreign cargo was not recorded in this agreement, Azerbaijan applies this measure in this situation, perhaps in response to our statements that the provision of a corridor through the territory of the Republic of Armenia is not mentioned in the trilateral statements from November 9 and January 11,” Pashinyan said.
