On September 9 Armenian Defense Minister Arshak Karapetyan received Mikhail Kosobokov, the newly appointed commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Artsakh, and Dmitry Ovcharov, the commander of the 102nd military base. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.

Arshak Karapetyan highly appreciated the efforts of Russia aimed at stabilizing the military-political situation in the region, as well as the progress and effectiveness of the Russian peacekeeping mission in Artsakh. During the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on regional security issues.
