French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, who was on a working visit to Washington on July 13-14, said that during the meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken the issue of the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was discussed.
Le Drian said that among other international and bilateral issues of interest the parties discussed possible steps aimed at establishing a lasting peace.
“I talked about our joint action as co-chairs of the Minsk Group to help achieve a lasting peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” the French Foreign Minister said.
