The “Armenia” alliance issued a statement calling on Police to identify those who are related to materials containing insults about the leaders of the alliance.
“Dear compatriots,
Yesterday, the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia issued a warning to the “Civil Contract” party and Nikol Pashinyan for violating the order of the day of silence. It should be noted that during the pre-election campaign this measure of responsibility was applied only to that party.
We would like to inform you that since yesterday, materials containing insult and hate about the leaders of the “Armenia” alliance have started circulating in different places. According to our information, this disgraceful process was organized especially by Soros organizations with the permission of the outgoing authorities. Moreover, during the same period, posters of the “Republic” party were placed in obvious violation of the law. We have also received information that members of the regional headquarters of the “Armenia” alliance are being detained on an obviously groundless basis since yesterday following false reports. There are reasonable doubts that these programs are organized especially by Soros organizations. There have never been such large-scale violations of the electoral process in the history of Armenia. We call on police to immediately, or at least in a few hours find those who prepare, distribute, and order materials containing hate speech against the leaders of the “Armenia” alliance, especially since the relevant videos are already available on the Internet. Otherwise, we will consider that the process is organized and directed by the authorities,” the statement reads.
