1061 rescue workers from the territorial and structural units of the Rescue Service of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations took turns participating in firefighting and search and rescue operations in the “Surmalu” shopping center between August 14 and 18. The rescuers took out 10 victims from the rubble. This was reported by the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations.

62 citizens applied to medical centers in Yerevan city, 4 of them continue receiving treatment, and the rest received appropriate medical care and got discharged. 

As a result of the calls received to the 911 hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the following citizens can be considered missing in the territory of the “Surmalu” shopping center:

1. Gagik Karapetyan, born in 1959.
2. Vanik Amirkhanyan, born in 1967.
